okay let’s get real
people are mad hating on valentine’s day. and i understand why they would since i don’t have a significant other myself… but at the same time, the concept of valentine’s day is so sweet and innocent. so it’s not fair at all for anyone to straight up hate on it. sure, you can be lonely and sad about it, but you should still be able to appreciate the fact that we have a day in our culture when all you do is love someone who means the world to you.
i know that in the near future, valentine’s day is gonna be one of my most anticipated “holidays” of the year. so until then, i’ll appreciate the single life and be happy for all those around me who found love (in a hopeless place).
